Hamayun attended Nasra School in Karachi, where he excelled academically and gained distinctions until matriculation.
Later, he enrolled at Karachi’s prestigious St. Patrick’s College and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in commerce. He mentioned that he happily worked as a general manager at a garment manufacturer before entering the entertainment industry.

Saeed was featured in Hadiqa Kiani’s award-winning music video, Iss Baar Milo, which was directed by Jami. He has appeared on reality series such as Living on the Edge as a participant. In 2009, he also served as a judge for an ARY Digital dance reality show. He also appeared in the Indian Bollywood film Jashan in 2009, when he played a villainous role.
In 2016, he garnered popularity among television viewers for his role as Mohid in Dil Lagi. In 2020, he returned to television, playing Danish in the drama serial Meray Paas Tum Ho, for which he took full credit for making it the best serial ever produced in Pakistan. The play became so popular that India, which is well-known for its films, praised the performance and narrative. On social media, Indians reacted favorably and freely expressed their admiration for Humayun, comparing him to their topline actor Shahrukh Khan.
