Personal Information About Saboor Aly
Saboor Ali was born on March 3, 1995, in Lahore, Punjab, Pakistan, to businessman Syed Ali and homemaker Rahat Ali. She has a younger brother, Ali Syed, and an older sister, actress Sajal Aly (born January 1993). Her father left her mother and married again.
In an online interview, she stated that she was “angry” with her father but now had a “close bond with [him].”She completed her primary schooling at Rahim Yar Khan’s Lahore Grammar School. She enrolled in a college affiliated with Punjab University for higher studies but chose to pursue acting instead.
Career
She began her career with a modest role in Choti Si Kahani. She played a supporting role in the family drama Mehmoodabad Ki Malkain on ARY Digital in 2011 alongside her sister Sajal Aly. She then appeared with her sister Sajal in an episode of Hum TV’s anthology series Kitni Girhain Baqi Hain and then in the acclaimed love drama Bunty I Love You alongside Saba Qamar.
In September 2016, she made her cinematic debut in Nabeel Qureshi’s socio-comedy Actor in Law, which starred Fahad Mustafa, Mehwish Hayat, and Om Puri.
Marriage & Mother’s Death
Saboor and her family performed Umrah in 2017, a few days before her mother died. She relocated to Karachi in 2011 to pursue her professional career but returned to Lahore in 2015. Her mother died from cancer in 2017.
She married actor Ali Ansari on January 8, 2022, at the Parsi Institute in Karachi.
