She had no intention of pursuing a career in acting; but, at the suggestion of her partner Affan Waheed, she dabbled in acting by playing a supporting role in ARY Digital’s 2012 home drama Thakan, followed by a lead role in the acting Khushi Ek Roag.

Her first screen appearance was as a supporting character in ARY Digital’s 2012 domestic drama Thakan, which was followed by a main role in the melodrama Khushi Ek Roag. She then starred in Urdu 1’s Teri Raah Main Rul Gai, opposite Samiya Mumtaz and Sami Khan, as Maryam.
